Here's an interesting version of a Panzer IV to model. :D What a waste of armor, huh. [:o]

After looking at it a little closer, it almost looks like a P III chassis.

Hate seeing things like that...I have seen dozens of tanks down range in decent shape that I would have gladly restored and drove around. Watching missles blow up M-47 and m-48 tanks that I served many years in also breaks my heart. I spoke to the man in charge of hard targets at White Sands and he told me that most of the M-47s there would only need a set of batteries, and they could be driven off. I still couldn't get my museum to contact people and get the money to ship one here. [:'(][:'(]

Panther F. By the look of the rear plate I would say that's definately a PZIV.
True, what a waste of armour.
pattoncommander I hate seeing things like that too. In my case it's seeing gorgeous aircraft slowly dissolving away as museum exhibits open too the elements.

I agree, Pz IV definitely. Not only are the tanks and other things from ww2 dissapearing but so are the eye witnesses.

It is a pzr4 if you look at the rear of the tank you can see the engine louver of the pzr4 and also the shape of the rear bulkhead of the 4. The hulk has been severely scavanged

Hi. There are many tank using as target. In 2005 I shot on a M4A1 and a Priest in a field of maneuvers, Salto di Quirra (in Cerdeña). Sorry, I don´t have any photographs.
