Metal Idlers.....where?

Anyone know where to get early metal idlers for a HL Tiger?
Mato kit comes now only with metal sprockets.

I tried ebay of course. Seller Welsh Dragon models stated he would list some, but that was 3 weeks ago. I don't get a response from other sellers.
Don't even mention Tankzone, I'm not paying 47 dollars for metal idlers alone. I would cast my own instead of paying that.

If they can't get the parts to the production lines they're going to lose the war (again).

I can´t remember if he sells "early" ones too. Don't know about overseas shipping costs.

Hi uhu Thanks for your reply.

My german is not too good, I didn't see the earlier style listed here. I will email them and ask.

Have you dealt with this company before?

Hi Smittyrob
Yup, I've dealt wit him before, good one.
Thomas is very friendly (he runs "Outdoor und Jagd", his name is Thomas Homann) and if you ask by mail he´ll give you a quick answer.
You have another option for early-mid idlers:

His english is a bit limited but they too will respond if you ask ;)

Cheers
Jose

I'm putting a pair up on ebay. I replaced my early ones with late versions. Let me know if you're still interested.

Thanks Lonewolf,

I'm actually looking for the early idlers in metal. Everyone else seems to have these, but my Mato kit didn't come with them.
The plastic ones are just so cheap otherwise I would have just used them.

Try Torro's and Matorro's websites.

RE: Metal Idlers.....where?

Thanks Swathdiver,

It looks like Torro site carries them, ever ordered from them? Can anyone tell me what they're like?

RE: Metal Idlers.....where?

Nope, but they are the ones who make them for Mato. All my metal hardware from Mato says Torro on it, tracks, idlers, sprockets, etc.

Torro is an importer (German?) of Shantou Mato (now known as Shantou Lisan) products

I haven't put the metal idlers on my tiger 1 yet... they appear to be "riveted" in...

RE: Metal Idlers.....where?

Yes,

Mine didn't simply pry out with a screwdriver. I had to cut the plastic idler away, spray some WD40 on the shaft and with a heavy pair of vice grips twist and pull the shaft until it was free. And it didn't come out easlily either.

What is the link? I went to the Matorro site but can't find the idlers or tracks for that matter.

I didn't see tracks here either but they have the sprockets and idlers
