Matorro King Tiger BB System.
 

Hey guys,

Has anyone else got a Matorro KT with a dodgy BB system.
Mine KT wouldn't fire a BB more than say 3-4m.:(
Is this common? Can i improve the system in any way, or should i just try replacing the BB unit.

same sh.. here. I am thinking of replacing the unit with another more powerfull gun, and make the mods as I did for my Tigers

Mine fires fairly weak also, seems to be the norm

Same here, you need a unit and better barrel. I think the "new" HL units shoot harder and Mato now has them in stock. The barrel can be made out of brass rod or you can buy an air soft barrel and cut it to fit.

I might pick me up one of those new HL units and try that.
The barrell will be a little trickier but i'll see how i go with a new HL unit first.

Make your barrel like this: " I Made a longer (up to the muzzel) air soft barrel with K&S 9/32 brass tubing, slid into 5/16x.014 tubing to get a better out side diameter. I wish I had measured it when it was apart but it would be easy to figure out for any one doing this mod. I drilled the two hop up holes, the gun shoots better than stock.) note: when you cut the inner barrel you must use a new hobby knife and go around the id of the barrel on both ends, so the bb will not be hung up on the burnish from the pipe cutter or dremel."

This barrel will work perfect and will fit the breech on the air soft unit nice and tight.
