DBC-RC2HL
I finally completed mine last night and was testing it. So far every thing works well but as I am using a sanwa(airtronics) super 6000 I needed to reverse all my channels.
The only issues I have are as follows: 1) IR led work fire when I fire teh main gun, with and without recoil block. 2) LEDs on DBU remain dimly lit when I turn on the main switch for the tank and after engine start up. They will be fully lit when there is a hit to the tank. I wish there was a way to increase my dead zone for my throttle, as I have no spring return for the throttle stick a small movement away from center will cause it to run. I am VERY pleased with the Battle circuit from Darkith as it allows me to finally use my own radio for a HL tank. I have yet to put the tank completely together as I am still trouble shooting and in a midst of adding a second sound board for the fire sound hench the removal of the recoil. I have not done any real driving test on how it feels withteh new circuit just a static test to check if all is working and the direction of travel is correct. |
RE: DBC-RC2HL
That's good news. Thanks for the update. I won't be able to start assembling mine until this weekend.

RE: DBC-RC2HL
A little update
I fixed the IR issue, it turns out that I needed a 10ohm resistor at R1 cause I was using a 2 cell lipo batt which has a fully charged voltage of 8.4V. After I installed the resistor, the problem went away. |
RE: DBC-RC2HL
I have my DBC2 assembled and in the tank (HL Panzer IIIH). Works great with my Spektrum DX6 and BR6000. Next up the TBU, using a real Tamiya unit.
