Custom RCmodels tanks
 

hello tankers!

I just wanted to know if anyone had a bad experience with "CustomRCmodel tank" I ordered a "TU2" on May 25, 2008 and NOT received yet? I sent couple of email but responded "will send soon" how long is "soon 2 week or 4 weeks? so far my experience in on a bad side.

I have ordered a few time from Willy in the past with good results. I do know he does travel as part of his business.

There are "other" outfits that don't even respond to your e-mail(s).

Subject has been posted in other forums regarding Willy's CustomRCmodel.com

Willy operates this as an enthusiast to the RC hobby community while holding down a full time employment else were
from time to time he is required to travel (hence the email delays)

I have purchase items recently from Willy & to his credit he has always responded to my pre sale questions via email

rest assured he will respond, I rate CustomRCmodel.com

Willy Lower is one of the most honest and hard working people you could ever meet. If anyone says different, they are lying and they can come speak to me. I know him personally and yes, he does not move as fast as the rest of the free world does. But the qualtiy of his work, his attention to detail and his love of this hobby is what makes him special. Yes, as others have stated, he does work a full time job that takes him all over the US, so at times orders do not move out as fast as some would like them to. But he does fill them, and rest assured. The items he does send out has his quality stamp of approval on them. This may not mean much to some, but knowing him and his expertise with gearboxes, does mean a lot to me and others that know and have bought from him in the past. Also, like stated before, this is a side job and more for the love of the hobby and to help others. He's not your everyday normal after market tank accessory vendor.

Your order will get shipped today or tomorrow …..
As others already wrote , I travel a lot for my job ,I work as a service-engineer ,
Therefore sometimes I get called up on short notice , which happened a few times the past few weeks …
I was holding off on shipping some of the TU-orders since I came up with some improvements ,
But because of my emergency-job-assignments the past few weeks I wasn’t able to inform everybody in details
which options I have now available which are not yet posted in my shop …
I gone call you and explain via phone ( easier when email )
