HL Pershing Question....
My HL Pershing seems to "eat up" 2000mah Batteries in no time....all my other HL tanks seem to run for fairly long times on the same size battery.
The M26 is a Great Tank.....but it strikes me that's it's heavier than any other tank in my collection, and that's including the "new" HL Tiger I. I suspect the problem is the M26's tracks and [possibly the weight of the tank itself). The tracks don't seem to be too tight are the individual track links "stiff" and just need to be "broken in"? Does it just take running....or do I have to buy a more powerful battery?? I was thinking of spraying the tracks with some WD-40, but thought better of it when I realized they would just pick up every bit of dirt they ran over. I don't want to put in an extra track link as I'm sure the tracks will "sttetch" over time..... Any Ideas/Advice would be welcome. |
RE: HL Pershing Question....
Which gearboxes do you have, plastic or metal? If metal, they may be tight causing greater resistance.
The tracks should be fine, they will loosen up over time. My M26A1 tracks sag a lot in the back now after 2 1/2 years. It usually takes about 10 hours or so to really loosen up. |
