Sturmtiger snoke

I just picked up a sturmtiger (was going cheap and I couldnt resist, even though Ive got a hundred other unfinished projects on the go!).

Testing it out in the back garden, it struck me how puny the little BB is firing out of that HUGE 380mm mortar canon.

Now somewhere on the net ive seen a video of a real sturmtiger firing - producing a MASSIVE recoil that shook the whole vehicle and an enormous cloud of smoke, which got me thinking....

what id ideally like is to remove the airsoft, and replace it with a device that produces a BIG puff of smoke when the gun fires, so I was wondering if anyone had any bright ideas as to where to start, what direction to be looking in to get this effect - would a second smoke generator in the superstructure with some kind of valve that triggers a sudden release wired up to the old BB gun connectors be feasible? Does anyone know of any small aerosol devices that produce 'smoke' that could be used? Any other ideas?

Jst thinking out loud really, any feedback of thoughts much appreciated...

you could somehow wire in a smoke gererater to be permernantly on, and that making smoke into a pressure compartment, then another wire into the gun fire mechanism to open the hatch on the pressureised compartment - letting out the smoke in a big puff!!!

just a thought!!

cheers.
