Tiger I Early Painting Photos..

1 Attachment(s)
I just got to the post-shading phase of my Tiger I build. I am not really happy with the results on the post-shading. IMO the shading lines are a tad bit thick. With any luck a coat of very very thin coat of Flat brown and buff(misted on) should blend it all together. Did get a chance to play around with watercolors to weather the metal tow cables.

I attached a before and after photo -as well as gallery link.

It looks nice and dirty Jack, I am sure you could blend it,,,, for more shading!

Nice work. :D I suggest you to change hl stick with a reastic tank number.
Look at this paint scheme:

I am a little lost here. The paint scheme I'm using is straight out of the Tamiya Tiger I manual and I looked up Tiger 331 at the website below. http://www.tiif.de/thread.php?thread...1a90d6361912e7 The numbering should give me Tiger 331 SpzAbt 503 in 1943 -or- did I make an error?
. The only thing I need to add is the extra tracks near the front machine gun and it should be spot on.

Thank you for clearing that up. For a second I thought I referenced the wrong tank.

Updated Photos. I am happy with the overall results of the weathering. However I am not happy with the back end of the turret. Would it be a good idea to spray a thin coat of german grey to help thin those dark lines in?
