Need some quick help

Hey guys, I'm needing to place an order today for my Bradley conversion parts and need some help from those of you with all HL models. Yes Patton Commander, I'm looking at you! :)

I need treads that are under 1.25" wide. I know the PIII ones are 1" and should be perfect, but the sprocket is over 2" in diameter. Can anyone confirm this?

My Bradley's sprocket is 1.25" from tip to tip and there is not much more room for a larger sprocket. Maybe a 1.5" to 1.75" sprocket could be fitted without major mods and looking out of place.

Do any of you have suggestions on which HL parts will work? I only have a Bulldog and obviously those parts are way to large. I do not want to use VsTank parts because metal is a priority.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ron

I don't know the measurements of the treads or sprockets for anything other than the PIII/PIV/Stug and the Bulldog. Please provide them for the other HL models if you can. Current rubberband treads are 1 1/8th" wide and there is 1/8" of additional space between that and the side armor. Not much room for expansion.

Looking at the lineup of tanks, I guess I only need the measurements of the pershing since I know the Tiger is out of the question. Can someone please provide me with those specs?

Looks like the Pershing treads are just a hair narrower than the Bulldog since it looks like they share the same road wheels. Can anyone confirm?

PCSguy, wish I could help...Pz III measurements are right. I have one single PZII track I could send you, the other` I have used for spares on other`German tanks. The 1;25 scale Panther`sprocket will mesh well with the PZII track, but I had all kinds of problems with axle shaft fitting etc when I tried it on my Jap type 97 conversion...hence, my Pz III sprocket is still there, albeit twice the size of the Jap sprocket. May want to try the 1;25 Panther sprockets.

Pershing and M-41 tracks are the same width (HL) and road wheels are the same. That's the reason I never display my M-41 alongside the rest...it's just too big.

Good luck,

Thank you guys! From the pictures, the PIV and PIII look the same. Sounds like the PIV will be a perfect fit and will be ordered shortly.
