Electronics Wizards

Ok here we go, YHR made a suggestion in a post awhile ago, about somehow making a soundboard to go along with heng long electronics, I came across this site that the guy used an mp3 player. I know he made this for a large rc tank but mp3 players are small, now granted I am not a electronics person at all and don't know if this could even work. But I will give the link so all you electronics minded people can have a go, and see what you think about possibly building this and incorporating it to a heng long board. http://www.geocities.com/eastpac01/sound.html

That is very interesting. Funny how one hobby can run ito another one. I am half interested in this stuff, so maybe I will have a look at these. I would think that Darkith knows exactly how to do this, as he is using the same idea for the DBC. It would be a matter of upgrading the PIC to include these sound commands as well.

RE: Electronics Wizards

Neat. Could be a neat sound system for someone, but there are a few issues:
1. Size & Cost
2. Can't mix sounds (e.g. overlay cannon fire over engine sound). Could create blended mp3s by hand...but a lot of work.
3. Delay between tracks.

Still, could be a nice setup...
