Where to get metal damper mounts for HL PZIII?

Anyone selling these?

I anticipate moving mine, however the way the plastic return roller mounts were glued in place, I guarantee the plastic damper mounts won't come out in one piece either. :(

Anyone got a line drawing of a StuG or PZIII that is accurate as well? All the "real" pictures I can find show the dampers mounted near-perfectly vertical, which they don't on the HL.

That won't hurt, thanks! :)

I'm assuming the StuG suspension and side sheet metal is all going to be relatively the same, but I figure there is more out there on the PZIII than StuG.

I'll cut the damper mounts off as soon as I can get my hands on metal ones. The glue on this StuG is pretty bad. :(

The only place that I know of that might have them is asiatam.de. They have the preponderonce of the metal suspension parts for the PzIII. Wecohe has some as does Impact, but I don't think they'll have that part.

Actually Wecohe does seem to carry the mounts.. as part of their shock absorber kit [link=http://www.wecohe.de/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=56_57&produ cts_id=284](here)[/link]. They're kind of pricey, though...

Thanks for the link. Maybe I can contact them and ask if they'd sell the mounts separately.

Interesting, doesn't look like those have any sort of mounting pins or anything, unlike the track tensioner setup I have. Not sure I trust adhesive on a flat surface to keep them in place long term when even the plastic ones are glued in place.

If Bill does not have them try welchdragon or RCtank.de http://www.rctank.de/product_info.ph...roducts_id=379

I stuck with the plastic mounts, but reinforced them with brass tube through the mount, the damper, and the hull. I'll put a bolt through the lot to secure it. I did have to drill out the damper and mount slightly to get a nice snug fit on the tube.

That would get around the lateral location problem on the glued mounts.

(Sneaked in a picture of the StuG, it's still going ahead slowly...)
