TAMIYA ROCKET PERSHING UPDATE
1 Attachment(s)
Built this tank a couple years ago. It was my first RC armor subject. I have learned some additional painting tips along the way and wanted to apply them to this old dog. First thing I did was add a soldered brass basket on the end of the turret. There are a few photos of this modification and I felt it added something to the model.
Threw a bunch of fuel, ammo and tools. Yes Ethan, the handles are real wood. New paint techniques are foam applied paint chips and a rust wash using alot of paint thinner, a bit of rust paint and a heat gun. Here are the results.....More photos tomorrow..... Darrin |

RE: TAMIYA ROCKET PERSHING UPDATE
Darrin,
As always and absolutely fantastic job. The pictures don't do either of your tanks justice. They have to be seen in person to appreciate the attention to detail and the high level of quality and execution you used in construction and scratch building. I have seen these tanks as well as others Darrin has done, and I have always been blown away by his work! Great job! Craig |
RE: TAMIYA ROCKET PERSHING UPDATE
Best looking Pershing I have seen, nice work ! I like the odd extras like the rocket launchers.
