Remote control Tx/Rx

Just wondering what a suitable replacement/upgrade Rx/tx would be for my Heng Long Panzer III?</p>

There are no Tx/Rx upgrades for HL tanks. They don't use a conventional receiver but a board. The only way to use a hobby grade Tx/ Rx on an HL tank is to use an El-mod or DBC system. And of course the Tamiya system.

I think Darkith's DBC RC2HL DOES work with regular RC Gear. $55 ain't bad vs El Mod $$$$$$

For use with the stock Heng Long Smoke&Sound ESC/sound board, and standard 4-5 channel RC TX/RX (27mhz, 40mhz, 50mhz, 72mhz, 75mhz, 900mhz, 2.4ghz). Great for replacing the stock 27mhz radio with your own computer radio, and permits more tanks to battle together!

Hi

I am using an old pair of Tamiya/Acom TR TX from my old Hilux 4X4

they work just fine in the preportional transmiter and receiver.

Does the RX18 use a different radio? If one has a tank with an RX13 and another with an RX18, can one just swap crystals or does it have a different radio?

I believe the Non Smoke and Sound radios are different than the SS radios.

Hi

It's the same for the two step and preportional transmiters

if you use a preportional transmiter on a two step receiver the tank acts sluggish and unresponsive

it still works but when you let go of the lever the tank will still move for about a second more.
