I know the camo is probably not authentic, but I think it looks cool. What do you think? Done with brushes, I need to invest in an airbrush....

RE: Stug
Not to bad at all. Kinda looks like an urban camo. I have seen a jadg painted to look like rubble. Take a look at the book GERMAN TANKS OF WORLD WAR II IN COLOR.

Good job !!!!
I did a paint job similar to your on my Panzer IV... I too don't have an airbrush and my apartment is to small and airtight to use spray cans. I used left over of a foam mattress which I cut into small strips of different shapes and sizesand I "dabbed" the paint on my tank.... It's not a bad method once you acquire the skills to use it.... |

Hi
Don't worry about it In WW II the German tankers used what they could get there hands on so what ever you could get your hands on would do just as good and if you think it looks good well sod every one else Here's my Tiger I Jon |
RE: Stug
Very nice guys, thanks for the comments...

RE: Stug
Not traditional, but creative and as was posted earlier- the Germans would paint according to what they had and what they needed. I think it is feasable, and looks cool to boot!

cheap paint house of kolor from ebay it is lacure paint but it is indestructable and will take any wash or dullcoat without a problem. For a tank to run and let the kids play with it is one of the most cost efective i have used.
