RE: Who is?
I turned 50 last July 4th and feel like I'm still 30, maybe even 18 when I'm being rude (so I've heard) but it's all in your perspective on things. I can still kick over 6 feet high and run faster than some of the young guns in the neighborhood.
Just don't ask me to shovel any snow for I tore all my rotator cuffs up long ago ... both shoulders. :D - Jeff |

RE: Who is?
Will be 57 in May, but I absolutely refuse to grow up. 4 years in the Marine Corps as a grunt; 4 years in the Border Patrol in San Diego, (that was back when we only had 1,800 Agents nationwide - now there are about 10,000); and the last 27 years working in Pearl Harbor Shipyard; first as a mechanic on submarines, and finished as the Anti-Terrorism Officer there. Retired two days ago on Monday - decided that 35 years of working for Uncle Sam has been more than enough. NOW, I intend to concentrate on building some of these modeling projects that I've been toting around in boxes for the past 40 years! I've got tanks, trucks, and even a Swift Boat - all in 1/16 scale.

RE: Who is?
I'm one of the older ones here, 63. Started 1/16 tanks in '94 or so with a KT found in a dusty box at the back of a tiny hobby shop out in the middle of nowhere, and the rest is history. In my previous vocation was introduced to a charming little lass in Moskau some years ago by the wife of an officer I knew. You know how women hate to see a happy bachelor. Hence the marriage to Victor Charlie Oscar, aka Vertically Challenged One, VCO for short (no pun intended), all 4'11" of her. That brought on the eventual move to Sevastopol and the addition of another avid tanker to our hobby.
Said move has also allowed me to assist in the expansion of the neophyte tank hobby here. It's growing like mad now in former SSSR. |
