Make it Stop!
 

Here is the situation.

Mato Sherman, airsoft gone. HENG LONG recoil installed. High Voltage flash (Homemade) attached to recoil. Press the fire button. Recoil makes three cycles then only shuts off after the tank does the recoil dance.

Suggestions? I have tried the diode and that slowed it to two cycles.

May take some repositioning of the micro switch to get it timed properly Don.

Those Mato electronics have some funky stuff happening when you push the fire button. Chuck and use the HL stuff.

However you are a pioneer in ingenuity. If you come up with something,please share as the sound from the Mato board is good when run through a quality speaker.

I think I have it figured out. Okay listen careful (well read careful.)

One full rotation of the standard elevation motor matches the timing of the mato sherman firing sequence.

I have taken an old elevation motor assembly and positioned two micro switches at the 1 degree position on the case of the elevator. When the fire button is hit the motor rotates at just about the right time or the 359 degrees position to close the micro-switches. The high voltage flash is triggered as is the sound module.

The elevation motor and micro-switches are then housed ithe rear of the lower hull.
