Waiting for HL Stuff

Hello All,

Not to start anything but I have been tanking only a short time. A lot of the time I have been waiting on HL parts. It seems to me that since I entered this hobby and started the videos etc. my goal has been to upgrade an HL to a Tamiya. My vodeos show that I am using software and such to make the toy look real. I do not regret having the Hls I have but a tanker friend said the same thing. He and I are trying to make a toy tank into a more realistic looking tank. As for me I am weary of the darn things breaking down. I am not too hard on the tanks, I just want something I that last longer and then I will not be waiting on so many parts.

Decision made I will save for a Tamiya...which one? I do not know. It needs to be one of the simpler ones. I am not quite as good with the building and mods as some of you guys. Still I think that if I run into trouble I can always call or get the help I will need. Worst that can happen is that I will have ot get someone to build it for me. I am sure they are availble already built.

No worries I will start looking at them and will let all know what I wind up with.

I will always have a Bulldog though. It is just fun to run and heck I will just buy hulls for it. I have the springs but have not gotten them on yet. Looks hard...

Thanks for all input from everyone. I read it all.

Be well all,

David

Great news David! I think everyoneenthusedabout tanking should at least have one Tamiya orequivalent. They really aren't that difficult to build. Just time consuming. Don't feel the need to rush and take one page at a time. That'sprobably the biggest draw back of a Tamiya....well it's not a draw back, just aninconvenienceto the impatient! lol<div></div><div>They all have small parts to put together but I think you'll be fine with almost any. I look in my King Tiger kit....and it really looks like a breeze in comparison to my Pershing and Leopard. If I recall correctly...the Leo and Pershing are one of the most difficult and the Leo being the most. So anything beyond that will likely be more easy.</div><div></div><div>You'll probably be recommended to get the Sherm....But I'd go with the KT, since you wanted that before anyway!

And get'em while they're on sale if you don't have a radio!
