I'm thinking about installing some Hpi Baja 5T tires on a Caster F8T. I'll be using 17 to 23mm adapters. How do you think it will look, what about run? I'm gonna put some 5000mah 25C 11.1v lipos on a castle 2200kv monster system. I've already reprogrammed the esc and turned the punch down. I need some weight. I need some tires that can handle 70mph. I'm also using a Savox 1267mg for steering so at 291oz that should be ok. I've got CVDs on all four wheels now. I've also ordered a jconcepts body. Any opinions or ideas on this idea?
Thanks

Curious. What are you trying to accomplish as the goal?
There are larger monster truck style wheels and tires available that are 17mm and will probably be slightly lighter. The Baja wheels and tires are heavier, but the Caster Fusion should be able to move it no problem. Drag racing, it will be somewhat slower, but you will gain top speed.
Just keep an eye on your motor and esc temps as it will create more of a load.

24mm, thanks for correcting that. Any ideas on how it should run with those before I order em?

I'm trying to reach a high speed that is controllable. I've already turned the punch down at the ESC. I just want to make sure that I have tires that will hold up. I thought that a heavier tire would help keep it grounded.
