I personally would go 5k,5k, 10krear. I like a little heavier oil in the rear
40wt likely okay but you will want to play with pistons and springs to get a setup you like. Best thing you can do is take it to the track and see what your starting with

40wt. silicone is really too heavy if its a bumpy track, try 35wt. or just a littlelighter to soak up the moguls and land softly on the big jumps.40wt. will rebound too hard. usually the pistons installed from the factory are fine, its just the shockoil that needs changing.
7k/7k/3k or 7k/10k/3k/ ..two good starting set-ups.
if you go too heavy in the front or rear, you will not get good "diff" action in the turns meaning, the inboard wheels will not break-loose from the outboard wheels and you will not turn tight as you would like (especially on loose/ low bite tracks).

when i had a Jammin X1 truggy i ran 7k-10k-3k always.... if running the 16mm shocks, 45WT oil all the way around, blue springs worked great... if 13mm, if i remember right, ran the dark blue springs with 50-55WT...

Good question. I had this a while ago as I am somewhat new to the truggy scene. I took a look at the Truggy Setup thread and compiled some data. 7k/10k/3k was the most popular diff fluid combo. As for shocks 40wt was most popular up front. There was a tie for rear shock oil between 40 and 50. I used these as a starting point. Its all about the track, and how you want her to handle.
