Default Truggy Wheels and Tires question

I was wondering if anyone has tried the following combination to know if it works.

Proline Masher 40 series tires on the J concepts Rulux half-ups wheels?

I just want to know if the 3.8" tires will be too large to mount on the 3.7" mounting beads on the wheels?

I really like the combo and think it will work on my set up but do want to spend the money if it doesnt work. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated

Default RE: Truggy Wheels and Tires question

It's usually easier to stretch a slightly smaller tire over a larger wheel; not the other way around. Even that little bit of a difference creates issues when you try to glue 'em up. I've run across this problem when mounting up one manufacturer's tire on another manufacturer's wheel and the diamters are off just a hair.
