I never raced truggy very seriously, but in retrospect my feeling is a good clutch on even a Mach 427 would have made more of a positive difference than some expensive engine.. For truggies clutches are extremely important. I'm starting to think clutches are even up there with servos, in the category of those things that you unfortunately just do have to spend money on if you want quality.. Annoying though, that you have to pay so much for such simple little things..

I recently got a Reckward RMV carbon Speed 2.5 clutch, THE clutch everybody has been running in Germany for years, but which I was always too stubborn to pay for.. I got this one in a deal with a buggy. Man, it IS good.. And with the carbon shoes it lasts forever. NO maintenance - my favorite..

I hear a lot of good things about the M2C clutch. If I were kitting up to race truggy, that's what I would get probably..
