Car starts extremely fast?

Car starts extremely fast?
Hey guys, today I got my first car (new from modelsportsuk)HPI Trophy 4.6 Truggy 2.4GHz RTR.
I have been following the manual and got it to start. The problem is, when it does start its extremely fast to the point it put a hole in my floor (wheels were obviously too close to the floor but still shows how fast it was). The remote was left how it was when it came, I didn't push it forwards or backwards so I expected it to start pretty slowly.
Am I doing something wrong or is it meant to start that quickly and I have to push the trigger to make it go slower?

Check the throttle trim is not advanced on the controller and you should also check the carb. setting are what the manual suggests.
