Default Kyosho motor mounting

Hey all I have a Kyosho inferno ST new race spec. I just purchased a LRP .28 3spec with a pull start and I can not get the motor mounted properly. It looks like the motor mounts rub against the crank case where the pull starter is. The pull start is square as opposed to the rounded stock pull starter it looks like I might be able to grind down the stock motor mounts to make some room for the motor. Is this the best option or should I look for another solution?

Engine you mean.....a motor uses electric!
The LRP.28 has a large backplate/pullstart...on cars that I have then it can be usual to modify the mounts to make it fit.

Pictures will help as I do not have the same model as you.
