How can I build a truggy?

Hi guys, I'm in the RC world, and I'm interested in the construction of an electrical Truggy, I' don't wont buy kits, I wont buy the componenst separately, and then assemble them.But I have some question, could you please answer to them?
1)Which component I will need?
2)If I buy a chassis, how can I make a steering mechanism?
3)If I buy a chassis I have to make others hole on it?
4)How many motos should I put on it?4[1xwheel] or 1[1x4wheels]
5)Which chassis I'll have to buy?
6)A cheap motor that comes with an ESC?

Not quite sure of your intentions to purposefully buy components separately. You certainly would be better off buying a kit to build. That would save you a lot of money.
In another forum, somebody asked the same questions. I responded with my thoughts, and today the post is no longer there. Meh.
I would recommend picking out a truggy that catches your eye; go to that manufacturer's website, and download the manual for that truggy. The manual will give you all the info you need to put together a kit. Part numbers will be in there, and from that, you can research the cost of each individual piece.
