RE: how to turn my ofna to a truggy
I'm interested in trying to do this also. Any input would be great. I have an Ofna Ultra MBX.
Here is what I was planning to do to start with. I was going to use the Ofna adapter for T-Maxx style rims. My hobby shop has a set of 4 for $9.95. I was then going to use a set of offset T-max rims. Between the rims and the adapters I should get between an 1 to 1 1/2 inches per side of extra width. I was just going to use the T-Maxx rims because of there advailabiltiy.
I have not worked out the gearing yet. The stock clutch bell is a 14 tooth and to set the mesh right I am at the end of my adjustment. I will have to look into a bigger spur and then maybe a 12 or 13 tooth clutch bell.
No ideas on what body will fit. I know I will have to make some mounts for what ever I use.
Any input anyone has would be great so I don't buy a lot of un needed items.

all you need is ofna dominator wheels they have the offset in them fit right on the stock 17mm buggy adaptors and glue on some panther komodo dragon's and a truck top of your choice total cost about 100 bucks
