Default Help a truggie newbie

ok ive been in rc for about 3 years now, have 2 evaders electric bx and st, and had a kyosho ultima gp st... yeah its semi classic i got that as my first truck, that wa my first mistake, had noooo idea what to do with gas, now that ive learned some stuff i wanna get a gas badboy now, and im looking for a truggy, but this is my thing , i cant dish out 500 dollars on a truggy, so is there any good cheaper prices truggys or buggys that can be converted to truggy.....? thnaks in advance for the help

Look at the HB Lightning Stadium RTR.. ultimatehobbies has them for $379.00 w/ free shipping. Cheapest way to get into truggys and its better than a Mayhem ST or GS SUT for less money.

what anout the ofna blazer tower has them for 365 .. i have a memebership their and i have a few coupons so.. is that any good. . ima look at ultimte hobbies tho......

If you plan on racing I would seriously look at the Lightning Stadium rtr @ ultimatehobbies. Its a solid/proven platform to build on without breaking the bank initially

ok well.. i dont plan on racing intially i plan on getting that sucker in the air ... i ussully drive at the local bmx tracks cuase i race bmx so big trucks big motors Low cg + BIGGG AIR but it looks like a solid truck to me .. thats most likley what im getting thanks guys Youve helped alot.

man I get mixed reviews on everything I look at [&:] i'm going nuts here. I want a truggy for a loose dirt track that has pretty windy turns. I was looking at the mayhem but now its not that good? I hear people love it. and hate it......blah [:'(] for me, price is no object.

I kinda wanna get the RTR one, my track is pretty short and windy and I hear the stock engine has lots of torque and thats just what I need. Imma stick with the stock for a while. What would you suggest after it goes or if I get sick of it?

a lot of people are using 28s but i still dont have the $$ to afford one of those ..i still use picco26 on mine..

yeah they use 21 non ps too ..but my freagin box wont work no matter how i do it..

Mayhem ST is a great race truck. To my opinion the best truggy for the price. It comes with a good radio. And its super fast. Those hellfires don't have a chance. But if u will be jumping it in the air. I recommend buying a MT not a truggy.
