already have have a look at www.createsometurmoil.co.uk under the mayhem section. Gave it a blast during warmup on saturday and then swapped to my New Losi 8T unfortunatly this gave me no choice.---- Losi it was for sunday. Good choice though Qualified 4th and finnished 4th well chuffed. Gona take the Mayhem out this saturday to local track and get a setup going.!! Even with 15mm extensions on it seams a little narrow. Does any one use offset wheels aswell to get some extra width ??

hey guys, i have a problem startimg my myhem. I know the glow igniters might not be charged enough but the muffler get filled up with gas as the engine turns over. This has never happend before, could there be any other cause than a dead glow igniter?

ok i checked the fuel klines and they dont seem to have any pinches or anything wrong but the truck still wont start, im starting to wounder if there is something wrong with the engine because there are no obvious signs that the truck shouldnt start

i should have explained this better.pull your glow plug out and make sure your igniter is full charged.hold the glow plug with a pair of pliers and check the glow plug.it should get bright orange.

I suggest to remove the pipe and make sure you have no fuel left in there.
The other is remove the Glow plug and copper spacer, Flip truck upside down and crank over the motor by hand.
You may find left over feul come out.
It sounds like you are flooding it somehow. If the motor is loaded up the only place it has left to go is in the exaust pipe.

As for the previous issue you had---take the center dogbones out and check to see how well the front and rear wheels turn freely. As for the breakes I used springs from pens to keep the pads dragging on the disk.

ok thanks guys, the engine does flood but it doesnt make a difference if i empty out all of the fuel in the exaust pipe and engine. It doesnt feel like it has any compression anymore when im trying to start the engine, and the i did check the glo igniter and plugs they are in good condition.

ok i think i found what the problem was with my mayhem, apparently there is no compression because the sleve and piston either got scratched or was not boken in properly. I did not find any noticable scratches so im guessing i did something wrong during the braking in of the engine. I heard that i did not break the engine in agressively enough but I followed the instructions that came with the engine. Has this ever happened to anyones else and do you think that is what i did wrong?

Put the engine in a bag, and send it to Horizon Hobby. They will most likely send you a new one

Does anyone have info for what kind of buggy wing to put on the ST?

Will a Mayhem wing and mounts work?

The ST and buggy wings are the same.
You can use the Proline downforce wing which IMO is a better wing if you are replacing it.

kind of hard to explain in writing but I will try you want as much smoke as possible with out sputtering fuel. you also can a solid sound from your engine so it is not leaning out. check out the racers at your local track this should give you a good feel.

Hey there, I was wondering if anybody out there knows what other bodies are available for the Mayhem ST (the stock one is kind of thin and prove to breakage ). I have the stock chassis. I've seen lots of different bodies that people have used with the extended chassis, would they also work with the regular one?
