Default Electric Truggy?

I love the look of all truggies, especially the Hellfire but a gas powered truggy just won't work for me. What is my best bet when it comes to eletric truggies?

There aren't any made. I've seen a custom electric LSP at my local track though.

To be honest, I don't see a point to it.

Because there's no point. Just like there aren't any electric 1/8 scale buggies. I'm curious as to why you would prefer electric over nitro?

Has nothing to do with liking electrick over nitro, just that the noise, smell and mess it something that is not practical for me right now. Plus it is too much maintanence that I don't know how to do, nor want to do.

I still don't understand why making a Truggy body stance in an electric motor is such an over-the-top idea. How does it hinder anything?

go check out the stuff at [link=http://www.finedesignrc.com/]http://www.finedesignrc.com/[/link] they can get you set up to convert or build an electric truggy.
Also in the last RC Driver mag that I got they had their 1/8th scale electric buggy.. I think it was a GS that they converted if I remember right... And it was fast and looked very balanced.

Ive been run over by an 1/8th scale electric LIPO powerd OFNA Ho Bao Hyper 8 buggy. So quiet - I walked on the track cuz i didnt realize it was even running - still got the swollen shin.

Let me tell you - there are several custom 1/8th custom electric buggies and they are totally sick! Id own one in a heartbeat. Fast as hell, endless torque, 15 min runtimes. They are unreal.

I'm trying to connect with teh guys I met that are doing this locally - to make a custom Lectric Truggy - Tazer PRTe - would be off the hook.

Whats the point? the point? Whats the point of driving a toy car around a dirt track at 40+ mph?
