Default Suspension Question - HB Lightning GT

This is technically I guess a MT question, but nobody seems to have this truck, and as far as I can tell the Lightning GT is basically just a HB LS with HUGE wheels...

So, I got a new HB Lightning GT today..(for bashing ONLY - no racing...), and the suspension is VERY soft... I've got a bunch of spacers in there now - but at what point do you have too many spacers?? And what's the difference between adding spacers, and changing shock oil? I also have one more spacer in the rear than in the front...

In the Monstertruck forum I have a thread titled "My New Ride", so if you don't know what truck I'm talking about you can see it here:

If anybody has any comments, suggestions or input, it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks..
