Default Thunder Tiger SST-1: your opinions plz

Is anyone running one of these truggies?

If so, how is it holding up? and how does it perform? TT claims it will do 55mph. This may be true, it features an .18 engine and 2spd tranny. Looks like a great little kit for the money.

Looks like a fun truck, should be pretty quick with the .18 in it. I reckon there might be more owners in the stadium truck forum though as it's 1:10 scale.

I dont know, for the price of it I would (and did) go with the Jammin, I have a hatred for thunder tiger and Associated, well not all of associated but the MGT, sorry MGT guys, but I had bad luck with it and the thunder tiger engines are dogs. But I will say I seen a vid of the TT truggy and it looked like it moved pretty good. But its alot of $$$, really look into seeing if its worth it.

I tried to find it but I had no luck, but if I am not mistaken the dude was running a novarossi 528XR in it, so....... Honestly dude, your best bet is to stick with the more popular manufacturers, theres a reason they are popular. I would even recommend a hellfire before the TT, but I honestly have limited knowledge of the exact specs and such of the truck, but I know for an absolute fact there engines are crap. Go with a Jammin or kyosho, the kyosho is the shizit. The top 2 are gonna be the jammin CRT and the kyosho ST-R, both cost big $$$ unless you already have all the stuff you need. I spent over $2000 on all the stuff with my Jammin CRT, granted I went overboard with modded $400 engines and a nomadio radio system, 12v power supply, 2 starter boxxes (I'm a moron and it was an accident, but I think I'm gonna keep the second one anyhow).

First thing you need to figure out is how much money do you want to spend, then we'll help you with whats availible, and take it from there. Personally I recommend going with something new, I went the second hand route and had to deal with a bunch of another guy's hacked up stuff like 15 different types of screws which half are stripped. If you are gonna buy second hand, you should try and get to see it in person.

I'm looking for a fast and durable 1/10th ST for my girlfriend. We have been looking at the MT2 and the Jato but I'm not sure if she could handle the 2wd of the Jato
