Flipping around corners? You should not be flipping a truggy on a turn any ways. Longer chassis is not always good. My track is kinda small and real technical so my st1 works very well.
lol it was just a wild stab in the dark.

to do the steering mod you dont need to cut anything , you do need longer turnbuckles that are 80mm or longer and longer screws ,and yes you can cut them with a hacksaw as long it isint titanium .

I did the steering mod without new turnbuckles. I am pretty close to the edge but seemed like it was strong enough. I have done alot of runs. Nothing has broken yet. I will later get new rods. 80mm seems way to long though. 75mm seems a bit more suitable. Is it 4x80mm you guys use? and they work with the stock rod ends? I am going to get a spare set of rod ends and the rod just incase.

These are the rods i used for my steering mod and it work perfect with no modification http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/6641 and these ones will work too but im not sure if they need to be cut down or anything maybe just grind 1.5mm off each end or do what i did and go caveman on them, rub it on the concrete lol http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2777

Ok, so Houston (i.e. Jombo, Madmax, Ericem) have a problem. The 8.4v batts in the starterbox work great. Engine starts up, revs....then we run into issues. If I give it bit more gas the wheels do not turn at all. The engine revs higher, but the car just sits there. Can I have blown the clutch already? Really would prefer not to take the clutch apart (being a noob). Any other suggestions what it could be?? Was running fine last time I used it. Are there any tests I can do to isolate the problem?

Also, it shuts off after running for about 15 seconds - is that b/c I have it too rich or do you think it is something to do with whatever problem is causing the car not to move. I think I'm about 1 more day away from sending this thing to Jombo and asking him to please work his magic!!!

...also, if I roll the car I can see the two gears moving so I know they're not stripped.

Another random question. What function is the short fuel line that comes out of the back right of the fuel tank (if you looking from the front of the car? It seems to come out but not go anywhere. Sorry to be annoying with all these questions.

the fuel line is for fuel spills the idea is the fuel collects and runs down the tubing and out the bottom of the chassis

I just bought mt Thinder Tiger ST1 and haveing trouble with the one way, (rotostart) It just kinda spins took it out and cleaned it but no diffrance. the motor has a ton of compression (stock .28) so when it hit top it just stops and spins. I guess my question is, do you have to buy Thunder Tiger oneway bearing or is their a universal replacement?

sorry about multiple posts... just another quick question...

I see there are 4 knobs on the radio and one right next to the throt trigger kind of look like a volume control!! ?

two of the white knobs are to control stearing and throttle, what are the other two for? I tried to adjust them but they don't seem to do anything? does anyone know

edit: forgot the pic

do you know what page in the manual?

All I see in the manual on pg 6 is: "for more details please check transmitter instruction manual."

The VOLUME looking one is your steering limit. This sets how much or less you want to steer.

St trim sets left, center or right on the steering
Hi controls how far you want the carb to open up when throttle is pressed all the way.
Low is how much breaking you want.

Best thing to do is have the transmitter and receiver on with air filter off (car not running) adn start moving the controls to see exactly how they work.
