Thunder tiger ST-1

Yep transponder mount from what I understand, don't forget to locktite all the screws that thread into metal and tighten the rest. Check your gear mesh also.
I got mine last week and have about 6 tanks though it so far. I had to go through and check everything, it seems like mine didn't have locktite or it wasn't evident. Make sure to check.
The car is amazing and I realy enjoy it. Plan on doing the steering mod sooner than later and also getting new wheels eventually or trying to reglue them, some are so far off and wibbly it makes the car shake.

I did my first test run after switching to the S3 rear shock bodies for the front, and drilling my front and rear pistons to 1/16 or 1.6mm. HUGE difference. It seems to almost float over rough stuff. I switched to 45 front from 40 front to make up for the larger holes. I have 50 rear. 8 preload front, and 9 preload rear. I am liking this truck more and more every time I change something. Next comes a real engine.

err......... waiting on clutch bearings............... good question jay. everyone has different setting. All depends on humitity, temprature, altitude all those things. some one in canada will have WAY different setting from someone in florida. and all engines run different. I tune on how it run, and smoke trail. I have NOT used a temp gun on this thing yet.

Ok, got it all figured out ~.^ I think. The seperate page that comes with the kit specifies the midrange (???) needle to be one turn out, but the actual manual says 6 1/2, I was like dang, 1 turn? So I screwed it all the way in and went to one, lol. But in the back of my mind I knew the factory couldnt be that far off, so thats why I asked.

I'm sure if we can find out which is a perfect match it would help a lot of people out.
I while back I think jombo posted that st1 has the same pull start that fits on a 0.18 motor so maybe we need to look for one thats meant for a smaller size motor.

Try going to your hobby shop and bring your one way and backplate so you can see if the one way fits and if it matches the backplate.

Hey everyone, been reading the forum for the past month or so. Just got an ST-1, for any of you running 16mm Jammin big bores what weight oil and springs are you running?
#3949

it's all the power you need. Great throughout the entire RPM range. Easy to tune and I haven't messed with it since. I'm still running the stock pipe! Waiting to sneak this one past the wifey: [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/11870]http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/11870[/link]

anyone have a solution to the trucks leaning out as fuel level drops, if you get it running good it will be lean before the race is over, anyone one ever ran a cooling fan, or is there a flywheel that is desighned like a fan, or sould I invent one.
