I dont think ALL of them do.
yes to rich. Just lean a little on the LSN and HSN.
I could not find this information but do all high end servo's come with an unwritten warranty?
Thanks eric, ok, it seems we got it idling good, but it dies as soon as we remove the ignitor. That means its running too rich right on the low speed needle? It seems as soon as we mess with that other problems crop up.

Thanks guys as I am seriously considering the ST-1 for my son. Where is the best place to buy off of the net, and where do you guys purchase spare parts? Is the radio fine to use in the RTR or will the servos die real quick? Lastly what is a descent brand of starter box?
I am leaning toward trying to pick up a used Mugen MBX5T for me as the guy in the local hobby shop said all the fast guys are running that truggy at my local track, including him. He did say that there was not a lot of different truggies running there though and I think there are not any ST-1's. Is the ST-1 in the same class? Again, I realize that 80+% is normally the driver and believe me there are many people where I live with more money than brains!

Yes the ST-1 is in the same class as the mugen. Amain is probably where everyone will tell you to get the st-1 from. They have it at the cheapest price for about 289.00 or so. It is a great truggy for the price and pretty much cannot be beat for the price, of course maybe except for a monsoon LOL! (twomanytoys that was for you)

Thanks a lot cujoman for the discount code.
Will an Ofna 10224 starter box work with the RTR model or will I have to remove the pull start and install a new backplate on the stock motor. Also is that a descent starter box to get? I have read is has a lot of power with twin 775 motors. I imagine I can power it fine with an 11.2 V lipo 3 cell pack? Any idea how many amps the box will draw? My cells are good to about 35 amps.

the starterbox will work with the pull start but theres not really a point of having a pull start and a starter box. if you can pick up the backplate The lipo's will turn it over fine.

Well atleast if he has the starterbox, if his pullstart fails he can still start it up. I doubt the 1 lipo has enough power.
Especially with that box since it has 2 775 motors which need much more power. Jombo got it and now he thinks starterbox's are pure evil lol.

DAYUM!!!!! Was goofing off in the front yard, and if I come up out of the ditch just right it clears the whole driveway. The only thing is the exposed metal culvert..... you see where Im going with this right? Well in the battle of ST-1 vs metal culvert, the truggy won. I hit it head on, no bumper, and just a few scratches.... think Im really gonna like this truck
Other than it being a fuel hungry little beast. But then again, my other nitro is a Mini MGT 3.0 and it sips fuel so maybe thats par for the course that these bigger engines burn a lot of fuel.

@revoeater a 15T vented bell works PERFECT the engine pulls really hard no matter what, also helps give you better fuel economy since it isn't just reving really high all the time.

Ok, I just about got it running good, when the pull string came undone, but this time it went back into the housing. I took the housing cover off, but I cant seem to get the tension back onto the spool, does anyone have experience with pull starter? Thank

the pull start is fixed..seriously, im about to give up on his truck. We go from get it running/idling but dies to wont even start in a few tweaks of the screws. Then we wind up way off course. We've went back to factory settings 3 times, but no go. Still wont start.
Where is the idle screw supposed to be. When I open the filter and look in there, the idle screw doesnt move it to 5mm, the low speed screw seems to move it..idk, we're lost! I wished one of you lived around here and would get your ass over here and get it running for us! lol I guess the only thing to do now is take it to the poor excuse of a hobby shop we have here and see what he can do. This sucks!
EDIT:
Ok, it starts with a high idle then within a few seconds dies..what do I need to adjust from here? And the manual says two different distances for the carburetor, one 1mm and one says 5mm for the initial setting, which one is it?

First make sure the radio and the receiver are off open the throttle servo with your hand then pull the pullstart a couple of times while covering exhaust.
Now pull it a couple more times with your thumb off of the exhaust. now undo the glow plug like half a turn.
Turn on the radio and the receiver.
Place the fully harged igniter on the plug and pull the starter in short twigs remember its not a weed eater. Short pulls (about 8" ) should get it going.
