Well guys welcome a new member to the ST-1 club! I cant wait till mine gets here hopefully next week. Anybody have a rough estimate on how long I should expect it to take? I ordered it yesterday and used UPS ground as the shipper and I live in Maryland. Im thinking if AMain shipped it today it should be here like tuesday or wednesday?

Ok, let me rephrase my question, what aftermarket bodies fit the ST-1?

Which Mugen body are you talking about?, Stock, Pro Line, JConcepts?

Starterbox rules. Now that all my friends use starterbox's, well almost all of them no one bothers me about starting issues. Its fine to because when we meet up we only need 1 starterbox anyways.

Ok guys quick question.
I have a ofna violator with the force .28. It is 2 years old and only has 10 tanks of fuel run through it. It is way to powerful for the buggy and I was wondering if that force 28 would be better than the stock engine that comes on the ST-1? It already has a roto start on it and its broken in and tuned. Should I swap the engines around?

Nothing to much. Ill bet it doesn't do much to begin with. If anything you will get better traction.
I think im selling my ST-1 amazingly. Decided not going to race. Just going to sell my car locally for like $300 + the $50 from my wheels. Racing will cost me $100 for the transponder (can't rent) + fuel + fee every race ($50+) = wish I just bought a Subaru Legacy Turbo with all the money I will spend every weekend racing. I will probably end up getting another ST-1 later in the summer. For now almost $400 in the bank is awesome.

Racing is spendy for sure it's just so much fun for me I dont think I could stop. Being a college student is tough on the funds though, dont think I will make every race I want to this summer.

I love racing its awesome to go each time and get better and better and learn new techniques and setups. Every time i go racing i find out about something new and im always improving my driving skills. I raced on sunday and made the A final but broke out after i hit a jump a bit crooked and landed on the back straight going the wrong way and had a massive head on collision with another truggy going probably 3/4 pace. I didnt see what type it was i think it was a MBX5T but i saw how badly it was damaged. The front arm was bent and facing back like fighter jet wing lol and the front of the chassis was bent up a bit and the right wheel wasnt inline with the arm so id say that was broken too. Me, i finally broke something, front right shock shaft
Thats it! lol snapped it off at the shock end. And if i still had the ST-1 front bumper instead of the S3 one i wouldnt have broken anything but i prefer the S3 cause it cant stop dead in a nose dive from the ST-1 bumper sticking out too far anymore. Awesome fun but yeah it can get a bit expensive if your not careful cause you usually break something every time. Not always big things and not even always something on the car but usually always something lol
