what would you rather see me get this truggy wich i think its really sweet or a jammin crt .5 or a mini mgt 3.0. Which would be the best in durability, bashability, and racing?

If you want to be competitive get the St-1, few small upgrades and you'll be good to go

I just broke in my st-1 and it's running well. The steering is a little sloppy and I plan on doing the saxon steering mod to tighten it up. Do I need to buy the lightened aluminum ackerman plate or will the stock silver one work well with the mod? I don't race but I like to have sharp and precise steering. Also what other upgrades are recomended for the rtr? I was considering new clutch shoes and stiffer shock springs.

Just use the silver ackerman. I shaved off some of the ackerman where it hits the chassis brace for a little more throw also.

You say your lhs doesn't carry Thunder Tiger, but you want a TTR (Thunder Tiger Racing) St-1.
Not sure what to tell you.

Well, I've only run 3 tanks through it. I want to finish breaking it in at the track, but they are doing a 100% change for a state race coming up. I don't think it will be ready until next week. But just from the first couple tanks I can tell this is gonna be a fast little 3 port. Pinch was just insane, pre-heating is an absolute must first time around.

I hate to ask because I know this has been discussed before, but I can find out where in here through the Search function. What Roto Starts will work with the stock engine? Will a Duratrax Roto Start backplate fit?
