Default hellfire help

hey all i just bought a hellfire ss from a friend that is going through hard times and sold me his new in box hellfire ss for 375.00. anyway im a racer not a basher and ive owned a crt and str 777 and both trucks had their highs and lows just like all rc trucks do. im looking for some info on this truck for racing purposes only things like what i should upgrade mabey some set up ideas stuff like that. hpi makes good stuff but they are not popular with racers ive read some good stuff on this truck in magazines LOL but havent got much info from racers on thease forums i knoe they arent popular at races yet ive seen a few run at my local track but they were rtr trucks. this kit looks like it is VERY good quality and has all the racer needed adjustments and hpi is known for durability so i want to try this truck but want some info and feed back. NO BASHING!!! im not looking for the usual truck bashing cause i dont own it crap i whant hellfire racers and pro answers instead.
