You have more experience with the Arena, tell us what should be replaced on the RTR and we'll decide what kind of package we would like.

Also what happened to the ARR package that i read about. Or was that a while ago. It was teh RTR without the radio, but the servos were included. Id be interested in that, what kind of price are we looking at. That would be good for those who want a complete vehicle but already have a good radio system to build off of. And if you want you can PM me the prices or whatever i dont mind. I really want one of these trucks just trying to find the most reliable place with the best price.

RGX racing is the only company I know of that has the ARR kit from what I was describing in my other posts. Everything is exactly the same as the RTR beside the the fact that is come with no radio and the lightened blue hubs that are included on the FRE kit.

Sorry I forget to tell you that you need to call RGX Racing and tell them that's what you want to buy.

Hi, got mine at Hot Rod Hobbies for $429. One of the CEN guys comes out to race and he dropped off a few for Hot Rod to sell. They can also get all the parts (both companies are located in SoCal). So far the car is very impressive, I have a raced out Revo 3.3 and a Kyosho ST US Sport and I must say they don't get run much anymore.

kinda curious in your sig why do u call it Cen Matrix ST Arena?
Come back more often and post more about what are recommended upgrades for the RTR kit and tuning setups. We are trying to get RGX to put together a nice package and if we have good demand we'll get good deals on parts.

Use the Ofna Chrome Top for the starter box.

The Matrix Hexes I bought are MX043 and the nuts are MX072. I'd go with the Thunder Tiger set like Blade mentions... the Matrix hexes are too expensive ($20 and the nuts are $10). When Killer Hobbies was clearing out all of their Matrix stuff I got everything for $17. A-Main has the whole set of TTR hexes, nuts and pins for $6.75. [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/2607]Click Here[/link] I still think at least the rear will need shims. Mine does for sure. I may use the Matrix Axle on the rear so I don't have to use shims. I heard that works.

Another set that might work... that I may try if the local Hobby Clown USA has them are the Hellfire X-Wide hexes. Will give you a little offset too...Heavy steel though...

Just make sure they take a 3mm pin. CEN, Mugen, HPI, Hot Bodies and Thunder Tiger use a 3mm pin.

And with that.. on your deathbed you will recieve total conciousness.

so you've got that going for you.

Gunga.... Galunga

Hi guys I love the CEN Matrix, I actualy own a Matrix pro Buggy..... But I had the opportunity to see the Matrix TR at the LHS, the owner had bought one for himself.... Anyways is it me or is the Arena TR exceptionaly heavy ? As compared to my MBX5T its a tank, and actualy seems heavier then my CRT Pro..... Now I am not saying this is a bad thing or dissing the CEN I am just curious of the machines weight.

Very soon I will have the opportunity to wheel a CEN Arena TR and I will give my impresions then, if its good I will buy one, as I love my buggy...

Bad news, my pull start one-way bearing died. It looks like the inside bearing race is made of plastic, where all others I have seen are metal. There are no apparent broken parts and it spins (in both directions) freely, it just doesn't lock anymore, so I don't know what happened. Also, I weighted my Arena and it came out to about 9.6 lbs with no fuel or body, which is kind of on the heavy side.

That may be why the plastic is used for the braces and servo tray.
Shark-your OWB needs to be replaced.
