.21s are not underpowered for truggies. Look at pro races, you'll find they're mostly using .21s. An RB C6BB OR the Ninja above will RAPE most .28s round a track. The only .28s that will keep up with them, will drink fuel like you wouldn't believe, negating their advantage in long mains. In the same way as having a torquey .28 allows you to gear up for more speed, a revvy .21 allows you to gear down for blistering acceleration. It's all balance. The main point is that manufacturers are still concentrating the majority of their efforts into the race size engines (12s instead of 18s, 21s instead of 28+s). It's also a matter of legality.

That's such a bad-ass looking engine! You gotta let us know how it performs? But for $650.00? That's equal to a monthly car payment! [X(]

It really is isn't it... Funny, an RB TM928 or an RB C6BBT7 will actually cost me more than that here, so this is definitely something worth considering for the XT8. Can I be a traitor to RB after all these years?? I dunno, it is a very sexy engine..hmmmm.

Amainhobbies has the RB C6 BBT7 engine/pipe/header combo listed at $469.99 with free shipping. That's $180 less than the Ninja Rossi Tuned with probably equal the performance and power. Thta's just my two cents in opinion.
Beseide as I have said before, it's worth a car payment...and I'm saving up for the new BMW M3!

I can't really order from US, I will pay double again on import fees and duty, not to mention I will have to go to the f***ing airport to collect it and pay. If I ordered a $600 mill, I'd end up losing 4 hours of my life and pay about $850. [&o]
I will have to pay about 600E for the ninja here, but like I say, the RBs are the same price anyway. Things are very expensive in Greece as the hobby is just not popular enough to be profitable for the shops at competitive prices. they charge what they can get away with. I keep thinking about making a friend in the US who I can paypal money to, so that they can buy me stuff and send it as personal packages. It's a nightmare.

If taken care of, how long is the life on that? Is it for experinced people or like a lrp, just break it in and your good to go?
