I've just built the front end of my trug. I used 10k in the diff, i've put together the gear box, the problem is that it dosen't feel very sooth, and locks sometimes, is this normal, because i've built the rear end and it's smooth and awsome, built with 5k. Does anyone have any ideas,? this is a hyper st pro trug

Make shure you got all your washers behind your spyder gears and you didn't double up on one...also check to make shure your pins set right in your bevel gears...and when all checks out ok ....remember you have to brake in new diff's.....IMO...I would go with the 7k oil in the front diff....good luck...[8D]

This happens sometimes, just loosen it all up again and turn the outdrives, then tighten up and check, also a good idea to check the shims, as said above. I had the same prob recently on my Xray build, just had to take the diff cover off let everything settle again and the replace the cover, just a tooth not settled in the gear properly, etc.
