Questions about RAZE ST
I recently bought a raze st. I'm very happy with the vehicle so far. I do have a few questions if someone can help.
I would like to do some upgrades to make it faster and stronger.
I also would like to know if there is a difference between the stock glow plug and a turbo plug.
My friend has a new revo 3.3. My raze is very competitive against the revo, especially offroad and handling. He is experienced in rc vehicles, and is impressed, however I would like to improve if possible. I'm new to the whole rc world, so any help would be appreciated.

RE: Questions about RAZE ST
There are alot of different upgrades that you can do. But the problems is what way do you want to go. You can get a different engine and pipe, servos, rx and tx, wheels and tires, have alum upgrades also, you can make handle better by changing the diff and shocks oil weights so there are some many thing you can do to make it better.
There is a big difference in standard plugs and turbo plugs..... The engines out there only take one or the other.

Agreed, there is a TON of stuff you can do. Duratrax has a page of upgrades you can buy, I just wanted to emphesisze what bbmods said.. engines can take only 1 plug or the other.. you can't go using a turbo plug in a engine that is not made for one, and I'm 99% sure that stock Raze ST engine is NOT made for one.

RE: Questions about RAZE ST
the difference between standard and turbo plugs is that turbo plugs use a matching tapper on the end of the glow plug and in the head button to seal the cylinder, while a standard glow plugs uses a standard crush washer, a turbo engine gets slightly better flow through the engine, particularly at high RPM because the combustion chamber is smoother, but turbo plugs are more expensive, some engines have a turbo head button as an option, the picco .28 P3 is an example, and the RB Tm728 can use the turbo head button out of the RB TM928.
