well my ofna truggy starter box fits my ST-1 good, but I to am having trouble finding a backplate.

you don't need to take off the pull start to use a starterbox. i use the ofna chrometop.

That isn't the right backplate. It's for the pull start version.

The correct part number is AA-0779 and A Main Hobbies should be getting them in any day now.

I requested them in November.
