Hi people Im new to this game and have recently bought an HSP 1/10 nitro Truggy. It was great for the 1st couple of plays but have since worn the teeth of the two speed gears and replaced. But now that I have put whole new gearbox in for some reason have no steering now. The steering seems to operate when it is all disconnected from steering arms but when re connected only very slighty moves. Is there anyone out there that can please help? Thanks

It could possibly be that your steering servos have packed up.
Turn On your transmitter and reciever and try to steer, if it moves, but does not turn properly, im guessing that it would be your steering servo.
Or possibly you could have damaged the steering arm, disconnect the steering servo from the arm, and check if the servo operates properly.

I think your servos have packed up. A similar problem happened to me, I changed the steering servos and I was fine. This normally happens to stock servos as they dont produce the power thats needed. You might have to upgrade the servos, also a reccomendation, if your upgrading your steering servo, you also might wanna upgrade your brake/throttle servos.
And look closely, check if there is dirt restricting the movement, once a rock got in.

First thing you should have tried was just lifting the front wheels off the ground, thus taking the load off the servo. if the servo is good it will turn the wheels off the ground.
if they then don't turn on the ground, then either your servo isn't strong enough for the weight of the front end, or the batteries your using aren't strong enough i.e. AA's vs hump pack.
There are many reasons for something like this to happen. Good to start from square 1 and eliminate all possible problems.

Yeah forgot to mention the battries.
What are you using, 4.8v, or 6.0v. (Single 1.2v or Single 1.5v)
If their AA's, id recommend changing them and then trying.
