Kay, so I took the entire truck apart and cleaned everything.
Looks awesome, but the diffs had a small amount of oil around them. Is this normal? Wouldn't want my diffs to be leaking. D:<

wow 10 pages of u 2 goin at it....haha....
banned...most diffs tend to loose oil over time....if the diff is 100% empty with only a coating on the gears chance are it leaked out....unless its still the stock factory grease...i duno..but either way....I use BN Orings and BN seals whenever i open up a diff...its not worth it to reassemble to only have it leak a couple runns later....so get urself some extra diff seals and orings.

If its not his back plate, its his glow plugs.
Theres always something going on with this boy.
BTW how do you get a flywheel off an engine.?

lol yea 10 pages just you and banned! lol and qaiz take the clutch bell off then there should be a nut its about the size of a glowplug and your glowplug wrench will work. just unscrew it and pull on the flywheel it should pop off unless its on there like my t-maxx I had to wedge a screw driver in there LMK how it goes ( 1. clutchbell 2. clutch shoes 3. flywheel)

DOOOO NOT WEDGE a flathead in there...that is soo the wrong way to remove a flywheel....that is however a Great way to puncture the front bearing seal and cause a bad air leak and Junk out the front bearing......there are a couple ways u can go about takin off a flywheel....1 is a Flywheel puller....they are pricy...but do what they do very well......2nd option is to lay the motor flat on its side....with the nut obviously off....Take a 2.5mm or a 3mm driver...my Integy Gold 3mm works great for this.......Lay the wrench on the block to touch the outter portion of the flywheel.......and whack away....Remeber to keep the head of the hex Flush as to not gouge the backside of the flywheel....Pending on how close it rides to the case that could cause issues by itself...but what ever u do...DO NOT use a flathead inbetween the block and flywheel.

You shouldn't have to buy a new flywheel unless you're buying new mounts and everything. O_o
Ordered everything yesterday...Now I'm waiting. Lol...I'm gonna take things slow when I'm setting it up this time.

Longer chassis (lengthed behind the engine)
New Gearing (buggy size spurs)
New 16mm Shocks
Low Profile body
new Weight distribution in the chassis:
engine moved toward center line and foward
radio equipment box moved foward and closer to center line
center diff bum moved foward
molded special pat. pending center diff mount
Bigger Dia. wheels & Tires
Much lighter, 1-2 oz over the roar limit of 9 lbs
Still has great foward traction despite weight moved foward and longer
wheel base.
Same easy handling CRT, just faster, and lighter!

I use a bearing puller (I have also heard them called a gear puller too) to get the flywheel off, works great. the auto parts should have them.

Ill try a blow torch tomorrow.
Lol I have no idea why its so tight.
Partly the reason could be is because once my dog bone seized up and the nut rotated till the engine died on the thread.
Ill just get a new fly wheel. Im missing a few teeth on mine.
Why is a fly wheel so important.?
It dosent really do anything does it.?

Thanks.
