Oh, wow, I don't think the guy at the hobby store knows what he's talking about. :\
He just gave my dad 2 "Pretty hot" glow plugs for my 30%.
I thought you were supposed to run cool plugs for higher %? =_=

You are correct! I wish you could have waited, you would have saved about what, $120 for the box and batteries?
Well at least CRT owners with this problem can learn from us!

I bought the box off of eBay for $74, with a battery. :P
Seems like a worthy sacrifice, though, I was planning on getting a bump box someday, just wasn't sure when.
I probably would've just used that spacer to hold me off until I could afford a box. Lol.

I couldn't understand what my dad said, when he was saying which plug, but I heard the guy in the background say "Pretty hot"
If it's not right, I'll take it back. <_<;

You should have gone there yourself :P
Now hopefully he gave your dad the right one, so you wont have to go back.

Yeah, I hope so.
It's right beside the mall, so if I go there, I can drop by and kick that guy in the face. Lol.

Oh, that's no good.
I had to screw around with the one I was running on my Wasp to get it to work again.
I prodded it with a screwdriver until it started glowing. Lol.

This is a very hot glow plug intended for use in .12 race engines with high nitro content fuels. This can sometimes be a good plug for .21 race engines if you need a hot plug (such as when the humidity is very high).

Well, how safe would it be to break an engine in while it was like 40 to 50 degrees outside?
And how high of a temperature will I be able to safely use these?

Not in yet, but the mail hasn't run yet, and I've got school today...And then work from five to eleven, so even if it does come today, I won't be driving. =_=
Hopefully I'll have Sunday off and I can drive it then. If not, I'll get up early Saturday and drive it before I go to work.

Maybe your hardware store.
Thats where I got mine.
For the body I think Tamiya makes florucent pink lexan paint, not extremely sure.
