There decent trucks a bit heavy especially the muggy. Also the muggy has its clutch issues.

Mutilator, only issue I know of is the c-hubs are weak and weak servo's.

Muggy all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think part of the reason the muggy has clutch issues is the big tires.

Muggy all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think part of the reason the muggy has clutch issues is the big tires.
My friend has one and when he first got it he would go through a clutch every day that we went out to run. He was ready to burn the thing to the ground he was so mad. He tried all different clutches and nothing worked. What he found out is that it has way to much chassis flex and when you compress the suspension all the clearance you put in your clutch bell and spur gear dissappears and starts to bind causing the failure. He got a piece of threaded rod about 1/4" thick and ran it from shock tower to shock tower and it bolted right up to a existing hole in it and bolted it tight. He had to bend it around the air filter but ever since he has not had a problem at all.

The new pro version looks alot better. I think it is wider than the original. The original mutilator with hub extensions and offset wheels was still not as wide as most truggies with no extensions and non offset wheels.

The mutilator is real good, since they changed the front suspension. I have one of the older versions that i did a pillar ball suspension on and it works great. Ive raced a few times with it and had great success with it . If your on a budget its a great truck for the money. if you can spend $450.00 dollars or more buy a Jammin CRT, Losi Eight-t, If not with a little set up the Mutilator is just fine.
