Cool man! You will get better with practice. Sounds like it is still on the rich side but since you have not driven much I would leave it like that, will not hurt it at all and be easier to drive for you right now.

Hey, I've almost emptied my first Gallon, running on Byron 25/11 on a .25 GO-Tec engine, so do you think i could adjust the fuel flow down a bit? if so, how much? and should i switch to a fuel with more nitro, less oil any time soon? sorry for all the questions, but I am a complete rookie regarding this. Only previous experiences i've had with RC cars is an old NIKKO toy car i had when I was a kid.

I'm not all that familer with Go Techs but engines are all about the same operation wise. You should be fine leaning out the engine with close to a gallon through it. If you've got a digital temp gauge it'll come in handy (if you don't have one get one). Lean it until you get max performance out of it and check your temp, all engines are a little different, but all of mine run around 260degrees. At max performance it'll probably be closer to 300+. Once you've tuned it for max performance I'll always richen mine up a tad to help protect the engine (more fuel/oil less heat). Some engines like thier temps in different places. Friend of mine has an 8ight-T with the Mach 28 in it and his rarely gets over 220. My Thunder Tiger runs like poop till it gets to about 250. My LRP runs like a stuck pig anywhere from 220 to 260 (still a lot of unburned fuel at 220, 250 - 260 and theres only a small amount of oil). After you get your high speed where your comfortable you might need to tweak your Low Speed Needle and Idle again, those adjustments would probably be very small on the LSN so move it slow (1/8th turn max at a time) and run it for a few minutes each time you make an adjustment to let the engine settle in to the needle setting. Lean your low speed until you get a smooth transfer from Idle to Top.

Your all alone... in Canada... everyone else moved out. You were having a nap when the announcement was made and we didn't want to wake you.

It comes what we would call a Roller. They call it a KIT but all you have to do is assemble shocks and install all you electrics and put tires on and paint body. Go to the first page of the thread all the way back and the first couple posts I did of pics is how it comes out of the box.

Hey Irving, on the pic posted below I noticed your fuel filter is mounted different than normal. Do you have another pic I can see how it is mounted? The conventional way on this truggy makes the fuel line get awfully close to the spur gear and yours seems like a good idea.

Actually it is currently loose. I'm thinking of mounting it on the tank. I'll take a pic once I'm done.

There is a dealer in Canada I think. Look on ebay under Caster K8T or ZX1-R and under the stores section on auctions there is a guy in Canada selling them. Check him out. It looks like a hobby store in his pics.
