Alot of new things coming soon from Caster racing for the truggy and or buggy. Here are some pics

Also the Caster Racing Captured Hinge pins are now available again. Have all been re-made and re-tested.

I really like what kaster is doing with their product,

I made my own springs for my pads on my 8ight, from click pens

I cannot say for sure right now but it looks like it. It is built to Caster's specs so it should not be the same exact motor as any of the GO's right now.

They are from [link]http://fastlane-graphix.com[/link] and cost about 60 bucks for so depending on if you get the wing done too. You get your name and logos of what you run on the wrap if he has them free. Oh and that motor is a AXE Rossi Cobra Evolution.

Wow, looks really nice. If I had a body like that I'd be afraid to practice with it.

I am afraid! Looks so nice when they are new. So what have you decided on the body for your K8T?

Man I think I'm gonna go safe for now and color them wheelie-yellow! [8D] Then drop some Caster stickers on it. I'm tired of people at the track asking me what I drive every time I go there.

BTW, for anyone thinking about going transparent,,,,,,car looks horrible once it feels a lil dirt.

here's some pics of some mods i've done to eliminate the e-clips and improve steering. first a captured insert in the rear, then cen hinge pins up front, then some dremel work up front to improve steering.

What is up with the last pic on the knuckle. What would that do moving the ball end up?? I also never messed with dremeling my knuckles as mine steers great with just the lower arms notched a little bit.

Also I see the zip tie on the wheel hub. I thought of doing that today but thought it would fall foward and slide off. Does it stay on??

moving the screw hole up does a lot, one thing i'm sure of is it reduces servo throw and makes it faster. my epa's are normally set at 120-130, with the screw hole up they are down to 80's, so the servo has less to turn to make the wheels turn all the way = faster. it does something to the ackerman also where even in the front hole it stees like i'm in the back hole. the holes dremeling into the balls was minimal, i've done more before but don't think the truck needs any more. the zip ties have not fallen off and are just a backup to the set screw and pin even though its locktited into the notch. i've had my share of pins falling out of extenders in the past.

Well Just got back from the SCI (southern indoor championship race) in Alabama. It was a awesome race. I switched my class from sportsman truggy to Pro truggy when I got there and did pretty well. I qualified straight to the PRO Truggy B-main and finished 6th. Was a 30 minute main and about 7 minutes into the main I lost all my brakes. Some new pads I put on spun off the metal back plate for some reason and was in 3rd when that happened. Still did well though and other than that the truggy was awesome all 3 days. Will definetly be going back next year.

One note to tell: Put my K8T on a huddy station while there for the first time and you may think you have your car setup good by using your eyes but you are nowhere close!!! I got it setup right on that and the truggy handled and turned better than it ever has. I thought it turned really good before but now it is effortless. Was turning just as sharp than all the other pro guys out there with the Kyosho's, Losi's and RC8T's. I will be ordering one very soon. Worth every penny.

I would say a Caster. Reasons are I think GS puts way more R&D into the buggy and not the truggy, Also bits and pieces on the GS seem alot bigger or more bulky which could make it weigh more, not sure. I think the towers are thicker on the K8T too. And last of all because I love my K8T!!

The K8T I think has only one issue out of the box and that is the tires and foams that come with the kit. Not sure what the GS comes with but most people who buy kits do not run with tires that come with them. Some kits do not even come with tires or wheels
