TIP: Some guys have been having problems with suspension binding on there Truggy and Buggies. All of them were installing the captured hinge pins. When you install them and tighten them down you need to back the nut off a turn or so. Then the hinge pin should spin freely in the arm. If not it is too tight.

No, some idiot complained that my avatar said Caster on it and since Caster does not PAY RCU to advertised therefore I cannot have it on my avatar says a so called moderator with nothing better to do.

Good for you. You will like the Kyosho. Wish I could have gotten you into a Caster but I do not see how anybody could have passed the deal up you showed me for that Kyosho! Let me know if I can help you out at all later with anything. I had a ST-RR too. Key word "HAD". Just kidding.

Well some new team drivers too out the truggy for there first race yesterday at the Ultimate Audio series in florida and had 104 entries for a club race!! <-crazy. and I got to say the trucks drove great and after the two rounds of qualifying I qualifed Calvin and Johnny were 3rd and I think 5th in the A-main pretty good for there debut. Johnny finished I think 4th and Calvin had his motor move but was really fast and in the Quals was battling with Local FL. Fast guy Tony Pattishal for awhile! There will be probably 6 of us Caster owners at the State Race next week. Should be alot of fun! Also I got say both of these guys switched over from the Mugen MBX5T and in the first race at a track they frequent are running faster then have with there Mugens, and like most people say when they do switch, they say it turns better and accelerates and handles better too and they are just getting started with there setups!

Vnmsgt had the Picco .28 in his and removed it only because of the air leaks the Picco's are known for, he never had a diff problem as far as I know. Except when he forgot to put a shim back after he disassembled/reassembled... but thats his own fault...he's a little thick sometimes. Vnm posted a few video's on YouTube when he had the Picco and you can hear it going lean landing off of jumps, guess he didn't want to fool with it anymore and sold it.

I'd use the Go...I'm sure a lot of people here will probably recommend the same. Picco's are generally too punchy for tracks on this side of the pond. Smooth tractable power engines are better and faster on tracks than punchy ones. Course we have supercross style tracks in the US, no idea what you Brits race on. Tell the Queen I said 'Hello'.

Yes I HATED that Picco! I know about being too lean on the bottom causing the problem I had and I was not lean. I removed the motor and sealed everything and it still did it. That is why I got rid of it. After 2 months of trying to fix it I gave up. Had way too much bottom for me to. Made it very hard to drive. I like a kinda soft bottom. And also Yes in my vids you did hear the problem I was talking about.

Never had center diff issues either. The one I messed up was a rear and I forgot the large shim behind the crown gear and also I used the wrong gasket, I used the paper thin one and it was shimmed to tight. Not a problem since.

1/8 Sportsman Truck Class will be added to the 2009 line up.

This class can be promoted by Local Clubs, Track Owners, and Local
Hobby Shops to bring more racers to F.S.O.R.S.. By bringing more local
racers out will generate revenue for the Clubs, Local Hobby Shops, and
the Sponsors.

If after Round #1 you decide you have made a error in entering the 1/8
Sportsman Class you can use Round # 1 as your drop and enter 1/8
Expert Truck at Round # 2. No pionts will transfer.

Starting Lineup
1/8 Sportsman Buggy
1/8 Expert Buggy
1/8 Sportsman Truck
1/8 Expert Truck

That is correct mike.

For the success of the class, the sport, and the series I think most
guys know who they want to race against and beat.
