So I guess the 50% sponsored guys can run sportsman?? I think there will still be come controversy over that, I am going to run PRO. Not interested in being part of the Bashing that went on at SIC.

We really love controversy.....ha ha ha

S.I.C. was an experience, but it couldn't have turned out better for Caster Racing in regards to public relations. We already announced that we will be there next year because we believe in them.

Want to congratulate Cameron Martin and Jason Anderson for the finishes in the RC PRO Finals in Texas this weekend. Both ran the Caster K8T and finished 4th and 7th overall in the expert A-main! Cameron was supposedly one spot away from qualifying for PRO with Lutz, Mayfield and the rest of the big boys! Guess the K8T is more competitive then some people think! Also in the first race of the Florida State off road series this weekend there were 4 K8T truggies in B-main PRO that were driven by Calvin Carpenter, Pete Payne, John Grunau, and JBlaze (sorry I cannot remember you last name lol!). I ran PRO buggy only but did not fair so well.[] D-main and in bump up spot when I hit a wall on a triple and broke a steering turnbuckle. Oh well, I tried.

can you use a half" offset on the caster or is it designed for standard 0" offsets?

I guess you could run any rim you want to..but the Caster is designed for 0 offsets..you could go with Mugen or Caster buggy axle adapters and run 1/2 offsets and it would come out to the same width..

I ran the buggy hubs but went back to the adapters and now run zero offset wheels. For some reason it seemed like I had more play in the front with the buggy hubs, Maybe they were worn as they were off of an old buggy had I had though. Newkid, Cool to see you are getting a Caster! I know you like electric too as I have seen your work on the Mantis, wait and see the Caster F8T brushless truggy that comes out.

nope bce....but will be racing for caster this coming year so it's gotta go.

I love the jammin product but this is an oppurtunity I wanna take advantage of. I will now be running expert only which will be tough but will progress me as a driver and maybe lead to other sponsors like panther and such

Oh.

I was going to switch from my Jammin to the caster, but don't have the money right now. Work and stuff have been slow for a while, plus I have other things I want/need before a new RC.

[link]http://holeshothobbies.com[/link] and has almost everything. You can also get them directly from Caster Racing at [link]http://casterracingusa.com[/link] but they are a little more $. Also hobbytown in winter haven FL. and Mod Hobby is going to start carrying them soon.

Only parts I've had to replace were because my gorilla paws put to much torque into it...and that was a diff case after I filled it with fluid.

Is this a problem with the GO motors? A friend just got a .21 and it had a lot of flame outs in the last few race..We were thinking that some new motors seem to do this and as soon as their "seasoned" the flame outs stop..
