What kind of tire balancers is everyone using?
I found this cheap prop balancer, but the magnets are not strong enough to hold a 1/8 tire

Need to glue the foam inserts to the tire before you balance them up. Spray glue at any auto store is cheap and last forever. If you dont glue the foams, they will spin inside the tire and the balance will be off and the time you spent on balancing them is just a waste.
The glue I use is for the head liners of cars, works great. Just a heads up for you

balancing ur tires is pointless, if you glue ur tires to the rims like ur supposed to then there is know way the foam inserts are going to spin.

The idea is so that the wheel doesn't hop around. You basically just spin the wheel and when you see a spot where it stops you add weight to the opposite side. No one is going to be able to glue a wheel 129% perfectly.

When your done blowing smoke up your own *** you might want to take notes. When the tires are balanced the truck/truggy handles better and is more predictable. Does one need to do this? No. But the results and performance gains are there once it is done.
Its like holes in the tire carcus, doesnt need to be done but youll also get better performance from the tires if they have holes in them.

CRCRC just had a big race, Josh Karl and Micheal Paige race at my track every friday night, one qualified right behind Adam Drake and both finished in the top 10. Both run Kyosho as do I and we balance tires.
Talk about maken it a tuff friday night of racing when these 2 guys race against you. I take all the tips I can get and use them wisely.

I can look at any R/C and know in seconds if they balance their wheels and tires, if you are serious about racing you spend time balancing.
BTW it has absolutely nothing to do with glueing your foams to the rims, I've never done that and I assure you all my tires and wheels are perfectly balanced.
